Credentials and environments

Shared setup for widget + API keys integrations on Solana and Stellar. Start at Choose your chain if you have not yet.

Widget partners on Solana or Stellar use the same key model and POST /v1/sessions. You do not implement SEP-10 / SEP-24 on the widget path.

Do not mix SEP anchor calls into a widget integration, or widget sessions into a SEP-only integration.

Solana and Stellar widget docs follow the same map. Only chain-specific signing and session fields change in the guides.

Supported asset today: USDC on Solana or Stellar.

When onboarded for the widget path you receive sandbox and production key pairs:

Critical rules:

Never put the secret key in client-side code, mobile binaries, or public repos.
Your domain must be allowlisted before browser keys work.
Sandbox reference numbers and confirmation codes are for testing only.

Pass chain: "solana" or chain: "stellar" (and wallet address) when creating sessions. See your chain quickstart for signing details.

Playground, partner-dev, and production are separate clusters. A sandbox key returns 401 on the wrong host.

Optional: clone the Solana Foundation runnable reference on devnet before you pick Web or React Native.

Use issuer and network from each sign payload when possible. Typical sandbox testnet issuer:
